At Buttons and Bows nursery, We are doing a sponsored bag fill (letters will be given out to families next week). Its a fun way for the children to fundraise. Each child will be given a bag with a coloured sticker on, they will then take the bag home and collect as many small items as possible of that colour. The child will be sponsored for how many items they collect or as a whole. We hope we will have your full support as all money raised will go towards resources for the nursery and the children.

However, we are very pleased to welcome Lucy, Clair and Joselle to the childcare setting. Lucy is working with our scientists and Clair and Joselle are working with our Explorers. Please say hello if you see them round the nursery.

Healthy choices allotment day!

As part of the healthy choices programme at wigwams nursery and buttons and bows nursery, we attended a day at the the allotment to encourage families to plant and grow veggies, get physical digging and planting and enjoy some outdoor space! We pride ourselves on being an outstanding childcare provider in ipswich which is why we continue to offer such activities and choices to the children and families at our nursery.

Greener Nurseries

With many changes and improvements to our carbon footprint, Buttons and Bows childcare providers and Wigwams Nursery childcare provider have just found out we are officially one of Suffolks 100 greenest businesses (recognised by Archant)! Well done everyone for applying the changes and being successful. Changes have included energy saving lightbulbs, reducing paper and reusing it, replacing paper towels with hand towels, sourcing local produce to reduce air miles...the list goes on!
