The Buttons and Bows Summer fete has been a huge success this year with lots of families donating goods and attending the fete with friends and family.  The nursery in Ipswich has made over £800 to put towards developing the nursery. It was a successful day enjoyed by all despite the downpour!  The fete had a BBQ, visit from local fire fighters with their fire engine, games and competitions, raffle and tomobla plus live music performances. Many parents helped out and lots of families attended. Thanks for everyone, including the staff, for all their efforts.

Family gardening day

We are inviting all parents of the Buttons and Bows Nursery in Ipswich children to join in on our family gardening day on the 20th May and contribute just 15 minutes of their time to help improve our outdoor area.  It starts at 9:30am and lasts all day.  We are growing our own tomatoes, runner beans, broad beans, carrots and peppers so the children learn about where food comes from and get the benefit and satisfaction of growing their own food.  We are also doing a general tidy up.  If you are interested please help us on the day...we look forward to seeing you!

World Book Week

Just to remind you all that our Buttons and Bows Nursery in Ipswich is holding a dressing up week for World book Day. Come along as a book character and join in. Our sister Nursery in Ipswich, Wigwams is also holding a dressing up week too.

Both nurseries are also still seeking support for Haven Fun and Fitness equipment so please register if you haven't already. The children will get a lot of enjoyment from the sports equipment. This is one of many improvements we are doing at the nursery, including increasing the size of the pre-school room, redecorating the communal areas and the toilets.
